I offer Mobile Live Scan services, which means I can come to you! Whether it's your home, office or a public location, I will make the process as easy and convenient as possible.

Attention to Detail

I understand the importance of accuracy and attention to detail when it comes to your Live Scan application. Your application will be reviewed for possible errors and omissions before it is sent electronically to the DOJ. You can rest assured that I will capture the best prints possible and that your document will be stored securely for the time required by law and then destroyed.

Pricing

Live Scan costs consist of a rolling fee which is my fee for providing the service and the Department of Justice (DOJ) fee that is charged for the background check.

My rolling fee is $40 (Please see service area)

The DOJ fees are $32 and if needed $17 for the FBI clearance. Your Request for Live Scan form will let you know the level of service that is needed. Please note that some background checks such as working with children or CCW clearances may have an additional DOJ fee.

Some employers or organizations will pay the DOJ fees. If the billing number field is filled out on your Live Scan form, then you would only be responsible for my rolling fee.

Service Area

I service the entire San Gabriel Valley, my fee of $40 will apply only to La Canada, Pasadena, and South Pasadena. Other cities in the San Gabriel Valley may be slightly extra depending on distance. You can call, text or email me for a quote.

Payment

Check, cash, credit or debit cards accepted.
A 3% service charge will apply to credit or debit transactions.
Venmo and Zelle accepted as well.

Group Rates

Reduced rates are available for groups of 4 or more. I have provided Live Scan services for large groups and organizations ranging in size from 4 to 70+ applicants at a substantial savings.

FAQs

Do you charge a travel fee?

Unlike most mobile providers I do not charge a travel fee.

What do I need to bring?

A valid photo ID eg. Drivers License or Passport.

Two filled out copies of your Request for Live Scan Form.

How long will the process take?

It usually will take less than 10 minutes.

How long will it take to get the results?

The DOJ will usually process the submissions within a few days.

You will need to check with the agency that requested the Live Scan to see if the results have been received.

Can I check the status of my Live Scan?

Yes, I will provide you with a link to the DOJ Applicant Status Page.

What if my fingerprints are rejected?

I strive to get the best fingerprint quality possible, but due to some applicants having difficult fingerprints to capture, there will be on extremely rare occasions that a submission is rejected. Should that occur, you will contact me and I will retake the prints at no charge. Again this is very rare.
